Health Coaching
Kaitlyn is a Certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Kaitlyn has the support of her mother who is a Registered dietician and instilled health and wellness habits in the home early on. Kaitlyn (and many family members) is a lifelong athlete. Kaitlyn infuses her bachelor’s in psychology and neuroscience, certifications in trauma and knowledge of trauma’s effects on the mind and body to allow the client to understand and adhere to new daily health habits tailored to their life. The goal is that these daily habits include fun and make the client feel nourished, fulfilled, and confident, eventually becoming effortless.
Yoga
Kaitlyn combines her trauma-informed education from her Master’s level education and Warriors at Ease for trauma-informed yoga to add vagal toning techniques with meditation, breathwork, and strength-building to help the student create a toolbox of self-soothing techniques while building physical strength. Kaitlyn is a student of Dr Foster’s Yoga Alliance accredited Yoga Anatomy Academy. and a student of Cleveland State University’s Clinical Mental Health Master’s Program.
Mindset Workshops
Research shows our brains begin to build new neural pathways after 90 minutes of activity. Therefore, Kaitlyn has created a workshop in which we utilize the combination of mindful meditation, movement, and vagal toning to help us reinforce the positives in our lives. Building on the skill of choosing more positive thoughts.
Kaitlyn spent her life training and playing/coaching college basketball. Fully understanding the training process of athletes, she now combines her anatomy and yoga knowledge to be able to create well-rounded classes building stability and strength, setting the student up for success whatever their physical goals may be. Through continued education and life experience, Kaitlyn has added the neurological component to help others achieve their goals.
Feel free to reach out to discuss your physical and mental goals. For we all know sports and anything of that matter is not just physical but encompasses spirit, the mind and reflected in the body.
